Our story
The Highland Legacy – The Tale of the Goddess
Long before time was recorded, high in the misty peaks of Vietnam’s Central Highlands, the land whispered its secrets to those who tended it. Here, generations of indigenous people nurtured the soil and cultivated the harvest with care, creating a legacy as enduring as the mountains themselves.
But peace is a fragile treasure. A shadow arose—an entity known as Rui, bringing storms, blight, and despair. Crops withered, granaries emptied, and the people faced ruin. For years, they fought, but the harvest failed, and hope seemed lost.
Then, from the heavens, a presence descended. A goddess, moved by the suffering of the people, defied the decree of the high pantheon to intervene. She came to protect the land, to guide the hands that tilled it, and to restore life where ruin had claimed it.
Rui challenged her might relentlessly. The battle raged across valleys and clouds, and for a moment, it seemed the goddess would fall. Yet, as her form began to dissolve into shimmering light, she witnessed the tears, the courage, and the spirit of the people. She resolved that no darkness would ever claim the highlands again. With a final surge, she triumphed, sealing her vow to guard this sacred land forever.
Though defeated, Rui did not vanish quietly. With a vow of vengeance, he swore to return one day to destroy both the goddess and the people she protects, leaving a shadow of threat over the highlands—a warning that vigilance is eternal.
The people never knew who she truly was. Yet through generations, they spoke of her with reverence: a presence radiant and pure, whose beauty was unmatched, whose grace was beyond compare. Some called her the Highland Goddess, others the Goddess of the Wind, the Goddess of the Harvest—but all agreed on one truth: she was unlike anything seen on earth, a being of eternal elegance and light.
Even now, unseen, she guides the people: whispering the secrets of cultivation, protecting lost travelers, and preserving the heritage of the highlands. Her presence is felt in every harvest, in the richness of the soil, in the aroma of the coffee grown under her watchful care.
The Highland Legacy carries forward this sacred trust. Every bean, every harvest, every sip is a tribute to the goddess, to the people, and to the enduring spirit of the highlands. This is more than coffee—it is heritage, it is craft, it is the promise of excellence preserved through generations, ever vigilant against the shadow that waits beyond the mountains.
